ACT4us deliver a diverse range of training courses suitable for anyone who works directly / non directly with children. Our courses range from 2 hour awareness seminars through to full 3 day workshops tailored to suit your individual company needs.

Training standards?

Our trainers are all experienced police officers and teachers who have many years training experience in delivering tailor made courses on a number of child protection issues, including the Every Child Matters.

What make our training unique is that all of our trainers are also practitioners in the field that they teach. Our trainers are experts in public safety subjects such as child protection, domestic violence and vulnerable adults. This knowledge and experience allows us to bring the subject matter to life with real life scenarios and anecdotes to reinforce the learning taking place.


	Safeguarding Children Our safeguarding children courses educate employees with a greater understanding of child protection. Courses are run from 2hr awareness courses through to 3 day tailor made courses specific to your organisation.
				Delivered by experienced teachers we offer a range of child protection courses, including Every Child Matters and Achieving Best Evidence (interviewing of vulnerable witnesses).


	Vulnerable Adults Linking with the new government initiative, No Secrets, this course aims to give the learners an overall knowledge of the issues facing some of societies most vulnerable adults.			Domestic Violence Courses Our courses explore the issues that face victims, the stages that an abusive relationship goes through, and identifies options for those being abused to help them return to a normal life. A case study is used which allows the learning to be identified with a real life scenario.


	Drugs and Alcohol Misuse ACT4us have provide training packages to raise awareness amongst managers, supervisors and staff to successfully combat drugs and alcohol misuse in the workplace.			Accreditation Package Your organisation will receive an ACT4us accreditation package along wit an annual review to update your accreditation. We provide you with the necessary policies training courses and support to ensure that you and your organisation is protected.


	Child Protection Online Courses Although we offer several online options we also design and tailor make courses specific to individual organisations. Our courses are for any Any organisation or individual who works directly / non directly with children.
